Real-time audio processing

During an active Desktop Translation Session, TranslateMe processes real-time audio through your selected Translation Provider to produce translated speech for your meeting. TranslateMe does not store meeting audio or provide transcript history as a product feature.

Privacy-safe session metadata

TranslateMe stores privacy-safe session metadata for diagnostics and Personal Usage Analytics. This metadata can include your signed-in user id, target language, setup status, timestamps, duration, and stable product error codes. It does not include audio, transcripts, local device labels, raw provider errors, or API key material. TranslateMe does not store provider API keys in backend analytics or session records.

Desktop Stored API Key

The Desktop Application stores your User-Managed API Key encrypted on your Windows device. TranslateMe sends it to the Production Backend only when creating short-lived realtime credentials for a Desktop Translation Session, and you can replace it, remove it, or clear it by signing out.

Signed-In User data

TranslateMe uses sign-in to keep session setup and Personal Usage Analytics scoped to the correct caller. Cached analytics in the Desktop Application are read-through copies for responsiveness and are refreshed from the Production Backend when online.
